  • Angie Colbert

    Instructor

I have a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a Master’s Degree in Health Education from the University of Texas at Austin. I’ve worked for more than 25 years in disease prevention, early detection, and health and wellness promotion at the American Cancer Society and at CHI Memorial Healthcare Systems. Most recently, before teaching Pilates, I was an elementary school teacher. I taught Kindergarten and 1st and 3rd Grade. I have been active in and loved sports since I was very young. I earned a 2nd Degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and was a certified instructor as well. I am still active in Pilates, Zumba, Yoga, and Kickboxing. I’ve been married to James for 27 years. We have 1 son who is a student at Louisiana State University (LSU) right now. I am an animal lover especially of dogs. I like reading, going to the movies, and spending time with friends and family. I am an avid Tennis fan as well as a College Sports enthusiast (for sure cheering for the Texas Longhorns and LSU Tigers!). I enjoy using my passion, knowledge, energy and skills to enrich as many lives as possible through Pilates, Assisted Stretching, strength training and motivation. I want to help people to be as healthy and happy as they can, for as long as they can. Pilates has changed my life for the better and I want to share that change with others.

  • Luisa F. Nunez

    Instructor

Luisa F. Nunez is a certified Stott Pilates Instructor since 2013 with special focus on Mat and Reformer (Essential and Intermediate Level), but trained as well on Stability Chair, and I have done self study on the Ladder Barrel and Cadillac. I fell in love with Pilates while still working as a Chemical Engineer in the Oil & Gas Industry in Colombia, in 2009. I’ve always been a very active fitness enthusiast and decided to try Pilates in search for a technique with lower impact on the knees. I was surprised with the increased muscle tone, core strengthening, as well as improved posture, balance and flexibility. I believe that continue education is an essential component of becoming a better fitness instructor, that’s why I have attended to trainings in TRX, Barre and I got a Certification as a NASM CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) December, 2018. I’m always willing to learn from different fitness areas, I took the CPT course because I wanted to learn and understand more about the Human Movement System. I was so glad with all the new knowledge from the CPT course, that now I’m taking a new course to become a Specialist in Corrective Exercise, in order to help my clients to move better and correct any imbalances in their HMS (Human Movement System). I speak English and Spanish.
