Renee J. Flores , MD

Renee J. Flores, MD, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained geriatrics and internal medicine physician with 10 years of clinical experience. She provides comprehensive care for adults. Recognizing that sexual and emotional health are a salient part of comprehensive care, she has expanded her role as an educator and sexuality and intimacy counselor. She works in collaboration with patients to address sexual desire, pain, performance, intimacy, and relationship challenges. Flores’ work includes clinical interaction, individual and couples counseling, and education. She’s devoted to lifelong learning and has an endless passion for continuing education and training in sexual health medicine. She is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, physicians, and the public. Flores is also an associate professor in geriatric and palliative medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
